In 2025, the alternate hotel is the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. This historic hotel was the primary railroad station for Scranton during railroading’s classic period, sitting adjacent to the Erie Lackawanna main lint through Scranton. During this time, Scranton was a prosperous manufacturing town with substantial economic impact, and this was reflected with the need for a large luxurious station. The hotel was constructed to appeal to these business travelers, whether stopping to conduct business in town or just spending the night while waiting for the morning express. #LCCA2025

During convention week three Steamtown train ride tours will depart and return to Lackawanna station. The 2025 Trading Hall will also be in the Lackawanna Station Hotel. While this elegant hotel will be a welcoming and stylish experience for all attendees, those members attending the convention having their primary focus on the Trading Hall would be well served booking rooms in the Lackawanna Station. Registrations for the Lackawanna Station will start when the LCCA convention registration site opens. The Lackawanna Station is across the street from the Scranton Hilton.
