2024 Convention Car - UP Boat Load

Description

This Lionel produced car, a boat carrier, comes with 4 multicolored boats and is another in the LCCA Union Pacific series. This yellow and red car has silver sprung trucks, has the UP full herald and proudly carries the American Flag.

This car is based on the postwar Lionel 6416 boat carrier offered between 1961 and 1963. The boats on the 6416 came in white hulls and blue tops and red hulls with white tops. The boats for this car will come in a Lionel clamshell so you will have the opportunity to load the car yourself.

The car is limited to one per member. The Lionel number for this car is 2401230. The separate 4 pack of boats has the Lionel number 2230120. Shipping is $16.

To help commemorate our Concord, NC Convention, the LCCA asked Lionel to produce a “Texas Pete Fleet of Heat” including a tank car and a MUSA boxcar. Texas Pete is based out of Winston-Salem, NC. This MUSA boxcar is painted in Texas Pete livery to match the tank car. This was productid in limited numbers and will surely sell out quickly, so order soon!
