During the last 3 months, two of our LCCA elected directors resigned their position due to unforeseen health issues. In both cases, as President, I offered LCCA members to fill the remaining terms of office and with the Board of Directors approval, made 2 new director appointments.

Director Tim Fuhrmann (RM 25937) had to resign from his position due to unforeseen health reasons. He was also our Convention Volunteer coordinator. I appointed past Director Dave Miller (RM 21985) to fill the remainder of Tim's director position. Dave currently serves as the LCCA Product Coordinator.

Director Ken Kelley (HM 1308) resigned due to an unforeseen health issue. Ken served the LCCA as President, Past President, and Treasurer. I appointed member J.P. Martin (RM 10886) to fill the remainder of Ken's director position. J.P. has been working on our web site store keeping our product current and up to date. He will continue to support the web store.

Tim Fuhrmann (RM 25937) also served the club as Convention Volunteer Coordinator. A long-time convention attendee, John Seresky (RM 39067), stepped up and volunteered to take on that position.

The club recognizes and appreciates the years of strong service to the LCCA offered by both Ken and Tim.  They have our very best wishes as they continue their recovery. And with the appointment of 3 new members, the LCCA leadership team continues to move forward to offer members “The Best Toy Train Club in the World”

A word to all our members, the LCCA has an election coming soon. I ask members to step up and seek a position where they can more actively support the club.
