The LCCA has received a donation of $1,000 from a charitable trust for the support of club-sponsored Special Events focused on kids. The Coker Creek Trust (CCT), based in Georgia, once again recognizes the Lionel Collectors Club of America for its charitable work in our nation’s communities.
During the LCCA’s 52nd national convention in Nashville, The Coker Creek Trust awarded the gift to assist with the LCCA’s continuing support of charitable causes and acknowledgment of its outreach program targeting the junior members of our hobby.
The LCCA was pleased to accept this donation in recognition of our efforts to brighten the day of youngsters and children of all ages who love model trains and have a special interest in Lionel Trains. Our Junior Membership program continues to expand. It brings the hobby to today’s generation of kids and their parents. The club will continue our efforts and will expand this activity in the future.
The members of the LCCA thank The Coker Creek Trust for its continued interest in the club and its recognition of the efforts of the club to encourage, grow, develop, and implement programs that bring kids to the model train hobby.
